Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Environmental Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team in one of our project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Role Summary:

You are responsible to Prepare, review, update, and present reports on issues related to the environment. Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.

You will deal with various construction activities and maintain good communication with supervision and project management teams. 

What you will need to do:

  • Conducts environmental Inspections and Audits on site facilities; maintains a project audit schedule and reports.
  • Maintains records as required by the environmental requirements.
  • Troubleshooting, advice and assistance related to project environmental issues.
  • Reports any environmental incidents to the client within the required timeframes,
  • recommend measures to avoid re-occurrence and maintain environmental incidents records.
  • Organizes, participates and evaluates response drills regarding environmental emergencies and recommend improvements.
  • Increases the environmental awareness by developing relevant presentations to site employees.
  • Participates in the development of environmental related project documents, plans and procedures.
  • Assists the Environmental Manager and HSE Manager in their daily operations.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned.

.What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering
  • NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Certificate for Environmental Management
  • ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor
  • Minimum of 06 years related experience (at least 04 year of experience in managing and implementing Environmental aspects in projects/operations/production in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries. 
  • Experience in coordinating with third party consultants for implementing the environmental monitoring of the project as well as organizing environmental monitoring that can be done in house.
  • Experience in performing regular environmental inspections and audits.
  • Have sound understanding of the HSE Management System and Environmental legislative requirements. 
  • Previous experience in EPC/O&G project is highly preferred (previous approval from ADNOC will be an advantage).
