Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Graduate Procurement Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable Supply Chain Team in our Athens Office.

Role summary:

You will be working within our international Supply Chain team participating in the assigned project’s works and services to ensure all deliverables are delivered as per the Procurement Plan requirements (Timeline, Pricing, Documentation).  

What you will need to do:

  • Assisting Procurement Managers and Senior Procurement Engineers in every aspect of the Tendering and project works, the Graduate Engineer will learn progressively the following:
    • Source and propose the Bidders from registered Client and Company approved vendor list and based on approved Procurement strategy within the Tender.
    • Ensure that all Supplier Pre-Assessment is done in compliance with the procedure to improve the performance of company/project in Supplier selection.
    • Coordinate with all relevant in-house departments to ensure all requirements are included in the bidding documents – including flow down - and prepare/issue the Invitation to Bid (ITB) to the suppliers of the Bidders lists.
    • Coordinate closely with Tendering department to provide regular updates for the progress of the Tender (ITB, Quotation receipt, etc)
    • Maintain the Tender Procurement Plan up to date.
    • Have a close interface with the technical responsible and lead all technical / commercial / contractual clarifications with the suppliers.
    • Perform commercial and contractual analysis, schedule evaluation of bids and incorporate technical evaluation from Engineering/Tendering.
    • Finalize the Comparison Statement (CS) of the quotations and make recommendations only for technically acceptable solutions.

What you will need to have:

  • BSc in Engineering University degree in one of the relevant field (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical / Instrumentation/Process)  
  • No experience required or eventually one experience as Engineer/Procurement Engineer/Site Engineer/Tender Engineer/Construction Engineer.
  • Motivation to learn and grow in Archirodon in the Procurement Dept
  • Good communication, co-operation and analytical skills
  • Fluency in the English language (oral and written).
  • Enjoys challenge, working with different cultures and travelling!
