Job Description
We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable Supply Chain Team in our Dubai Office.

Role summary:
You will be working within our international Supply Chain team participating in the assigned project’s works and services to ensure all deliverables are delivered as per the Procurement Plan requirements (Timeline, Pricing, Documentation).
What you will need to do:
- Support assigned packages, source and propose the bidders from registered Company approved vendor list and based on approved Procurement Strategy within the project.
- Ensure that all Supplier Pre-Assessment is done in compliance with the procedure to improve the performance of company/project in Supplier selection.
- Communicate with all relevant in-house departments to ensure all requirements are included in the bidding documents – including flow down – and prepare/issue the RFQ to the suppliers of the Bidders lists.
- Challenge requirements according to suppliers’ market and project’s requirements.
- Maintain the Project Procurement Plan up to date.
- Interface with the technical responsible and build all technical/commercial/contractual clarifications with the suppliers.
- Participate in the performance of commercial and contractual analysis, and in schedule evaluation of bids and incorporate technical evaluation form Engineer/Project Control or E/M, QA/QC, and HSE.
- Assist in the conclusion of the Comparison Statement (CS) and make recommendations only for technically acceptable solutions with proper and documented technical-commercial and evaluation report and seek necessary approval.
- Highlight all discrepancies in Procurement processes, identify related risks and propose actions to minimize such risk.
- Prepare and obtain signature of the Purchase Order or Contract according authorization matrix.
- Review all commercial and contractual correspondence and take necessary actions as required. Maintain the files for each Purchase Order in an orderly fashion.
- Participates in the expediting, Quality Control, and Logistics team throughout the post award to ensure a timely delivery.
What you will need to have:
- BSc degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or other related Engineering field
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ Procurement experience in EPC project.
- O&G experience will be an advantage.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers & sub-contractors.
- Professional knowledge in ERP Procurement software as part of your prior experience
- Excellent English command (written and oral)
- Computer literacy, including use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
