Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Contacts Engineer  (Claims/Disputes) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our project in NEOM/Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

What you will need to do:

  • Prepares and handles all contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to the Project execution and the construction contract.
  • Analyses impacts of variations, changes and impact events to the scope of works.
  • Liaise with all other departments to investigate the details of the variations, changes and impact events.
  • Investigates and compiles all data including documents, correspondence in support of documenting the impact of variations, changes and impact events.
  • Prepares claim narratives, chronologies and all other aspects of claim’s submissions and defense of supply chain claims.
  • Works with the Contracts Manager and Project Controls Manager to finalize submissions.
  • Revises and answers questions and feedback on submissions as required with the Contracts Manager and Project Controls Manager
  • Contributes to meetings and discussions with regards to the submissions and negotiates with regards to the submissions with the Contracts Manager and Project Controls Manager.

What you will need to have:

  • University degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil) or Quantity Surveying or in law,
  • 4 - 6 years' of experience in Similar Position with an EPC Contractor preferably on mega infrastructure projects including tunnelling, bridges, rail, etc.
  • Experienced in working in a tri-partite Joint Venture structure in a fully integrated project team.
  • Experience with FIDIC Contracts
  • Experience in Claims, Arbitration & QS in highly preferable
  • Administrating, writing, reading and understanding contractual documents and correspondences in English.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is highly preferred
