We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced Procurement Tendering Lead to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Procurement team in our Athens Office.

Role summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple tenders with the support of procurement team in Athens/Dubai/Jeddah office.

What you will need to do:

• Ensure all deliverables are priced and delivered as per the Tender Procurement Plan requirements (Tender Timeline, Pricing, Documentation)
• Closely coordinate and align with the Supply Chain Director for critical activities such as: definition of the Tender Procurement strategy, coordination with other regions for the resource, interface with other Dept, negotiation strategy, final pricing review
• Ensure a Tender Procurement Plan is developed systematically and up to date
• Ensure to achieve cost optimization through better knowledge and pricing from the supplier market
• Ensure the team stick to the Tender schedule and focus on principle targets such as price and deliverables
• Coordinate frequently and effectively with Tendering and Engineering team
• Reassure that the company is able in the long term to provide more benchmark and feedback analysis about commodities

What you will need to have:

• Engineering degree
• At least 10 years’ experience in Procurement and/or Tendering activities at Department or Corporate level
• Min. two years’ experience in leading teams
• Previous working experience in EPC companies is a must
• Proven experience with Supplier Market in Middle East or/and North Africa is highly welcomed
• Fluency in English

• Is able to build strong working relationships and manage reporting at Project, Regional and Corporate level with people of various cultures & nationalities
• Possesses excellent co-operation and leadership skills
• Is pro-active with a “can-do” attitude
• Possesses strong presentation and reporting skills
