Role Summary:

Cost estimation and tender evaluation study for new tender projects, in addition to assisting and supporting of currently awarded project.

What you will need to do:

• Review tender documents and contract like drawings, technical specifications, schedule, BOQs and coordinate with procurement and nominated vendors.
• Quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables
• Perform assessment on Vendors proposals.
• Review and check all electrical drawings and cross check it with related civil drawings to identify and order the embedded items.
• Quantity surveying for all electrical items and materials
• Prepare purchases requisitions required during tender stage and for awarded projects based on design project requirements and quantities take off for all electrical items and materials.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned

What you will need to have:

• Four (4) – six (6) years of overall experience out of which Two (2) – Three (3) years of experience in tender estimation and technical evaluation study for high grade projects and buildings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience for at least Two (2) years working with a contractor in the same role is essential.
• Very Good English comprehension.
• Previous experience in tender estimation and technical evaluation for different electrical systems (Low voltage and light current) is required.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft office applications, AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
• Applied American standards NEC / NFPA to projects knowledge is essential.
• Knowledge and awareness with the local market.
• Team worker, cope with pressure, to-do mindset.
