Job Description

We are constantly growing, and we are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Procurement Coordinator (Expeditor) to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Supply Chain team in our Athens Office and support the Post Award for complex package Risk Tier 1 or 2 and overall related expediting activities.

Role Summary:                

In this role, you will be involved in impactful mega international EPC projects and you will have the opportunity to grow within a world class team.

What you will need to do:

  • At Project start-up or RFQ stage, organize and define the criticality rating review with the appropriate tool.
  • Organize most of the time remotely the Kick off meeting (KOM) and attend to Pre-production meetings (PPM).
  • Ensure all deliverables are produced, reviewed and approved, by all involved parties (Archirodon and Supplier) as per Purchase Order schedule to enable the next stage of manufacture to proceed.
  • Receive and forward the Supplier’s Notification for Inspection to the QA/QC. Monitors the progress of the Inspections, ensure that the Inspection reports are received, reviewed, agreed and logged, use the update weeks look ahead to anticipate consequences on schedule.
  • Follow up closely the manufacturing progress, receive progress reports from Suppliers and provide regular and accurate status reports on the progress of the activities
  • Coordinate, monitor and follow-up 3rd party inspection activities in close coordination with Quality department
  • Organize Expediting visits and ensure the report issuance and distribution including highlight the findings.
  • Escalate problems and liaise with other departments to coordinate any technical, commercial, logistics or administrative challenges.
  • To maintain and update expediting plans, and liaise with other departments to resolve any technical, commercial or administrative challenges.
  • Maintain up to date all Registers, Deviation, Non-conformance, certificates, deliveries and OSD
  • Chases the As Build documentation until approval of all parties.
  • Participate to Supplier Performance Evaluation and provide feedback to the Procurement team to improve the performance of company/project in Supplier selection.

What you will need to have:

  • Supply Chain or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical discipline).
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years of working experience in a similar position in Expediting or Quality Control (Static/Rotary equipment, Valve, Piping, Electrical or Instrumentation packages)
  • Understanding and professional experience with Supply Chain tools
  • Mobility for assignment overseas
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Fluency in English

What it is nice to have:  

  • Previous experience in construction industry in buildings projects or renewable energy projects
  • Previous experience as Package lead
  • International supply chain experience or market knowledge
