Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Logistics Officer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Supply Chain team in our Jeddah Office and support the Logistics Operations of the group.

Do you have at least three (3) years’ in-country Logistics experience working either in freight forwarding customs and logistics in KSA or/and the region? Do you want to work with international close-knit teams with adventurous mindset and a proud culture? Build on a mission that matters!

What you will need to do:

  • Deliver successfully and ensure the timely delivery of the material and equipment packages assigned as per Purchase Order requirements or Project Procurement Plan.
  • Provide any support and guidance relevant to Logistic matters to Project Procurement Team.
  • Coordinate all external and internal communication related to Freight Forwarders
  • Plan, lead, organize and control delivery of material, equipment, parts etc. from vendor’s origin to project sites by deploying most efficient transportation mode (land, sea or air), and by utilizing established frame agreements with Service providers at the balance of safety, costs and time.
  • Provide effective interface between Project Management Team or any other Site Team and appointed service provider to ensure all expected logistics deliverables are achieved
  • Provide effective shipment visibility and traceability at all time during project execution
  • Provide to the service provider in charge of shipment (forwarding agent, carrier, etc.) all instructions and documents required for a successful execution
  • Administer and retain transport/shipping and other statutory documentation i.e. custom forms, exemptions, approval etc. to meet audit and legal requirements
  • Work to approved logistics procedures and processes in accordance to AGNV policy and other requirement within the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Review logistics performance and activate close-gap or mitigation measures to ensure continuous improvement across the function
  • Ensure rules and regulations of Customs and other regulatory bodies are being fully adhered to for all permanent and temporary importation/exportation of materials, equipment and parts for project consumption
  • Provide estimate and recommend logistics costs as required by the project
  • Ensure feedback and service provider performance evaluations on designated intervals by use of the Supplier performance assessment
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to uphold and secure AGNV Integrated Management System (IMS) and processes and procedures.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant field
  • Good knowledge of international transport processes and procedures
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English
