Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced Saudi National Cashier to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Finance team for our Jeddah South project, at Jeddah.

Role summary

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and disbursing money and accurately managing the financial transactions at the Site. You will be responsible for supporting the Team in the daily cash management. and we will count on you regarding all our day-to-day processes.

What you will need to do:

  • Keep custody of the main cash on hand and its equivalents (i.e., unused, uncollected or cancelled cheques etc.), as well as the main keys to the cashier's office
  • Ensure that all cash-related documents comply with the approval requirements set by Management
  • Obtain required approvals for invoices or equivalent documents preparing the necessary statements or summaries before preparing cheques/transfers
  • Receive and disburse cash based on documents approved by the Management preparing the relevant documents like cheques, transfer letters etc
  • Reconcile daily the cash with the relevant account balances
  • Prepare and submit monthly the cash transactions summary and the bank transactions summary.
  • Prepare monthly the supplier payables ageing report, and arrange invoice payments
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

What you will need to have:

  • BSc degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Min. two (2) years of experience as a Cashier/Accountant
  • Fluency in English
