Job Description

We are constantly growing and looking for a full of potential and reliable QC Engineer to join our top qualified Quality Team, supporting our new PV Projects at the areas of Thrace (Alexandroupoli), Thessalia (Farsala) and Epirus (Arta-Preveza).

Role summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for performing quality inspection related to materials and construction works, based on project technical specifications. You will assist Construction personnel to identify and resolve problems, ensuring project safety and continuity.

What you will need to do:

  • Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality criteria and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to Project scope
  • Prepares the Project quality documentation, including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Project works
  • Monitor the implementation of Method Statements, and, Inspection & Test Plans related to Project works, and ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner in the area of assigned responsibility
  • Monitor all measurement & testing instruments employed for Project works, and that they are functional and calibrated
  • Liaise and coordinate with 3rd Party Testing /Inspection Company as required related to Project works
  • Assisting construction personnel to identify and resolve problems and potential or actual non-conformances related to Project works
  • Travel across the above areas on a weekly basis

What you will need to have:

  • BSc degree in Engineering
  • Two (2) – Five (5) years of experience in Quality sector, ideally within Construction companies
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
  • Involvement in Renewable Energy Projects would be considered an asset
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good command of English language
