We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Commercial Manager (Accounting Manager) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of professionals in our office in Jeddah, KSA.

What you will need to do:

• Responsible for the general accounting activities, analyses, business partnership, and internal group reporting.
• Accountable for the maintenance of effective internal controls ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives.
• Oversees all activities related to tax matters.
• Work closely with construction sites/projects and facilities across the company.
• Responsible for the day-to-day aspects of the business’s accounting and reporting functions and reports directly to the Finance Manager.
• Responsible for month and year-end close process and financial and management reporting.
• Responsible for coordination with external auditors and ensuring their requirements are satisfied in a timely manner.
• Leads the budgeting process and reports variances on a periodic basis.
• Monitor project billing and work certification

What you will need to have:

• Strong accounting background with commercial and out of the box thinking.
• Leadership abilities and capability to lead teams and the ability to smoothly overcome critical situations.
• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to utilize ERP systems for process automation and control enforcement.
• Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analysing variances.
• Be proactive on managing cash balances by effectively monitoring cash flows.
• Maintains continuity among corporate, regional, and project/site work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Manages Statutory Financial Statements preparation and handling of audit.
• Deep knowledge of KSA laws and regulation for Tax and VAT.
• Minimum 10+ years of overall experience with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position.
• Construction industry knowledge and experience is Mandatory
• Previous or current experience of working in KSA is Mandatory

• Relevant certification in Finance or Accounting
