Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Environmental Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our sites in Saudi Arabia.

Role Summary:

You are responsible for supervising field personnel, administering good construction safety practices and communicating effectively with all on-site activities ensuring that all our operations run smoothly and well-organized. You will deal with various construction activities and maintain good communication with supervision and project management teams. 

What you will need to do:

  • Conducting daily inspection reports for all environmental issues
  • Conducting environmental monitoring that can be done in house (in situ water measurements, noise etc.) and relevant calibration and maintenance
  • Coordination with third party consultants for implementing the environmental monitoring of the project
  • Increase environmental awareness through trainings
  • Actively executes or assists in the investigation and reporting of all accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Maintains, and participates in, the schedule of meetings, emergency drills, inspections and audits that are programmed for the project.
  • Familiar with specialized environmental monitoring programs (e.g. turbidity, sea water, noise, sediment, corals, marine mammals etc.)

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor or Diploma in Environmental Engineering
  • NEBOSH or IOSH Certificate.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years in marine related construction projects as Environmental Engineer/Officer

Previous gulf experience preferred and transferable iqama as well
