Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Project Controls Engineer  to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our newly awarded project in Jeddah, KSA.

What you will need to do:

  • Monitors cost performance, follows the progress of works and assists in the preparation of budget forecasts.
  • Performs comparative analysis between actual and budgeted performance in terms of cost, productivity, staffing and review variances.
  • Provides recommendations for improvement actions regarding cost and schedule performance.
  • Provides support to Project Controls Site teams whenever required.
  • Prepares the Company’s internal project controls reports and presentations.
  • Reviews project performance reports and presents to Management.
  • Assists in preparation of claims and variations.
  • Identifies, communicates risks and changes and verifies the cost impact.
  • Supports Tendering teams on behalf of Project Controls Department.
  • Assists the Project Controls Managers and Project Managers in their tasks as required.
  • Leads the lessons learned sessions in coordination with Quality Dept. to support continuous improvement of project performance and company operations.
  • Acts as “champion” in the development and implementation of Project Controls systems company-wide.
  • Follows and implements the established Project Controls’ processes as well as Company’s policies and procedures.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with international studies)
  • 2 years of working experience in similar position in  the construction Industry
  • Fluency in English and preferably Arabic
  • Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office

What it is nice to have:

  • Experience in EPC industry
  • Civil Engineering background (Coastal Marine)
