Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an IT Applications Analyst to join our operations based in Athens and to act as a champion for assigned software applications, across company’s operations and its international site projects.

Role summary:
You will act serve as an important intermediary between the assigned business clients and the development and other teams in the IT function to identify core business issues in diverse information systems, to map out possible solutions, to manage implementation, configuration and delivery and to provide on-going support across the Group and site projects’ operations. By this way, you will support Archirodon’s operational and business efficiency, making substantial impact.

What you will need to do:

  • Collaborate with business functional areas to elicit and analyze requirements and to model business information and processes into workflows, standards and user cases
  • Evaluate and selects suitable solutions within the parameters of IT infrastructures, compliance, and technical requirements
  • Manage vendor implementation and configuration to address requirements and to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Support testing, validation, and documentation as necessary
  • Provide system configuration and other on-going support post-implementation of the assigned system across Group’s operational site projects
  • Review operational and procedural requirement improvement opportunities on business process, practices, workflows etc. for the systems assigned
  • Support integrations of systems between Group and Client to ensure improved work processes
  • Assist with other systems and IT roles and functions as appropriate

What you will need to have: 

  • IT related degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in business analysis of software applications
  • Understanding of Engineering & Construction industry and of systems for EDMS and Time Attendance will be gladly welcomed
  • Very good command (written and oral) of the English language
  • High mobility and willingness to travel around to international project locations (think Middle East and North Africa to start with), especially in their kick-off stage ​​​​

  • Can collaborate smoothly cross-functionally to elicit, analyze, communicate, and to validate requirements to determine the appropriate solution
  • Possess strong organisational skills; you can manage time and resources effectively
  • Has keen eye for detail
  • Is highly-motivated and able to prioritize and work independently
  • Is eager to learn new technology and tools to help meet user needs and business optimisation regarding document management cycle
