Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Personnel Section Head to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team in our project in Laayoune, Morocco.

Role Summary:

You will be supervising a team for the successful operations of all HR functions (Recruitment, Reporting, Mobilization, Payroll, Training, Evaluation) and all daily operations in accordance to Company Policies & Procedures and Local Labor Law.

What you will need to do:

  • Monitors inter-site movement of staff and reports the same to the site in time based on the instructions of management.
  • Maintains transfer/demobilization reports.
  • Monitors payroll with the assistance of subordinates within the time schedule.
  • Prepares Memorandum and Circular as required based on management instruction.
  • Liaises with other site Personnel officers when required for timely mobilization/ demobilization of “available staff’ this as per the requirements of the Project Management.
  • Supervises Personnel Officer in AHRIS data entry.
  • Ensures data accuracy and reliability.
  • Ensures compliance with Local Labor Law.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Five (5) to Eight (8) years of experience with at least Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in a Supervisory position in an operations role - preferably in the construction industry.
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Experience in various HR functions including: Personnel, Payroll process and Team Supervision.
  • Experience in analyzing data information and maintenance of records
  • IT skills – recent MS office certification and Web-based programs/applications
  • Excellent in communication/interpersonal skills and ability to deal with various nationality employees

What it is nice to have:

  • Experience in site construction
  • Experience in projects in Laayoune will be an advantage
