Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a high potential Tendering Electrical Engineer - to join our knowledgeable tendering team in our Athens Office. Are you ready to contribute to Archirodon's strategic growth supporting major clients in Oil &Gas?

Role Summary: 

You will be working with a team of highly knowledgeable professionals in the Tendering department responsible for interfacing with major national and international customers. You will be supporting and coordinating all aspects of the bid preparation process for the proposal and tender of engineering packages.

What will you need to do:

  • Prepare the Tender Information Summary
  • Prepare and check the Bills of Quantities as required
  • Prepare material and subcontract enquiries
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that comprehensive and consistent quotations are received
  • Produce cost estimates for specific parts of the works
  • Produce proposals regarding work methods and equipment to be used including scheduling
  • Co-ordinate with other departments in obtaining specialist advice and input into the discipline related sections of the estimate as required
  • Assist estimators in timely completion of cost estimates as required
  • Assist the Tendering Supervisor in the compilation of the technical submittals
  • Assist the Planner in the preparation of the tender schedule

What you will need to have:

  • Beng or equivalent in Electrical Engineering; Master degree in relevant areas will be highly welcomed
  • Minimum five (5) years of work experience within a construction contractor in the same role
  • Ability to report information and outcomes with accuracy, attention to detail and structure
  • Travel mobility up to (ten) 10% of the working time in the countries of operation
  • Computer literacy, including use of MS Office; (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language
