Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Pipeline Construction Manager to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Construction team in our new Oil & Gas Project in UAE.

Role summary:

You will be responsible for all delivery aspects of the project scope. You should ensure effective on-site execution of construction activities and overall management of the construction process with emphases on safety, quality, costs and schedule.

What you will need to do:

  • Manage direct multi-faceted construction activities, including subcontractors, and personnel
  • Ensure all construction activities are performed safely and in compliance with applicable policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction for construction and completions activities
  • Provide Construction support to Project Management during the initial planning phase of the project
  • Participate in Constructability and 3D model review sessions
  • Build and Manage effective Construction teams
  • Ensure all construction activities are performed in accordance with project specifications and drawings, within budget and time schedules
  • Maintain effective communication and report the status of construction progress to the project team
  • Manage the RFI and change order process in the field
  • Assist with the preparation of change orders
  • Maintain excellent project records and documentation of delays and other potential project impacts
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and complete documentation of construction activities

Qualifications

What you will need to have:

  • Technical / Engineering Degree
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in increasing in both level and scope Construction Management positions within major, sizable international Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical projects; at least one (1) successfully delivered EPC project at similar level with exposure to  onshore cross-country Pipelines and Flowlines; deserts are preferred rather than swamps
  • Deep understanding and knowledge with construction management systems, processes and tools
