Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a knowledgeable LEED Civil QA/QC Engineer to join our knowledgeable Quality team in one of our biggest projects in the New Administrative Capital.

What you will need to do:

Be actively involved in the Quality activities and contribute to the department’s plans and strategies supporting day to day deliverables needs including:

  • Review of project technical specifications, drawings to identify and determine quality criteria and engineering criteria for materials, testing requirements.
  • Manage the inspection and testing of the works in their area of assigned responsibilities, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors under their authority.

  • Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related works (Civil) and in particular issues of design, procurement, construction and final hand over of the related works (Civil).

  • Liaise and coordinate with 3rd Party Testing /Inspection Company as required.

  • Advise the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and where necessary, raise a Non-conformance Report for such non-compliant work, and monitor the closeout and effectiveness of the correction and corrective action undertaken.

Qualifications

What you will need to have:

  • BSc. or in Civil Engineering
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of proven experience within a construction contractor
  • Certified LEED buildings requirements
  • Knowledge of QA/QC activities and LEED building basics requirements 
  • Ability to report information and outcomes with accuracy, attention to detail and structure
  • Computer literacy, including use of MS Office; (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language
