Are you an experienced Cost Controls Engineer professional, who would like to be part of a dynamic EPC leader with global presence? We’d like to meet you!

Role Summary:

You will be supporting projects that are located abroad and contribute to the operational efficiency of the Project Cost Controls team. You will assist in monitoring, updating and reporting the cost project's status and contribute to the team effort to meet the project’s objectives in terms of cost.

What you will need to do:

Your role may include but not limited to the following:

  • Participate in preparing Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and establishing Project Cost Centres. 
  • Participate in transforming the Tender Estimate into Project First Budget. 
  • Ensure that costs are properly allocated to relevant Cost Centres. 
  • Participate in preparing budgets and current estimates. 
  • Participate in estimating new rates, pricing of variations, assessment of claims’ cost impact. 
  • Monitor project actual costs, determine and analyse cost variances and develop cost trends and projections using and presenting the Budgeted Cost for Work Scheduled, Budgeted Cost for Work Performed, Actual Cost for Work Scheduled, Actual Cost for Work Performed and Cost Performance Index. 
  • Participate in preparing cost reports or providing the necessary information for such reports. 
  • Maintain records of actual cost elements (materials, equipment, manpower etc.) to use in the Project Close-Out Report and to provide feedback to tendering department. 
  • Liaise with project different sections in cost allocation, accounting and control matters. 
  • Participate in preparing the Project Close-Out Report and Lessons Learnt. 
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

What you will need to have:
