Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Environmental Officer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable HSE team in our EPC Project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role summary:

In this role, you will be involved in impactful mega international EPC Project and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. You will play a critical role as we will count on you for supporting the Environmental Manager in the environmental aspects of the project works and mainly be based on the field.

What you will need to do:

  • Conduct daily inspection reports for all environmental issues
  • Conduct environmental monitoring that can be done in house
  • Provide coordination with third party consultants for implementing the environmental monitoring of the project
  • Increase environmental awareness through trainings
  • Execute or assist in the investigation and reporting of all accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Maintain and participate in the schedule of meetings, emergency exercises, inspections and audits that are programmed for the project

Qualifications

What you will need to have:

  • NEBOSH Environmental Certificate or Diploma or Bachelor in Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine-dredging construction
  • Familiar with specialised environmental monitoring programs (e.g. turbidity, sea water, sediment, corals, seagrass, mangroves, migratory birds, turtles, marine mammals etc.)
  • Proven leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
