Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Plant & Equipment Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Plant & Equipment team in our Athens Office. Are you ready to be part of an international dynamic team?

We are looking for an experienced plant & equipment engineer with exposure in the maintenance and repair of equipment of civil engineering projects. Such equipment includes  loaders, dozers, graders, concretes, floating cranes etc.

Role summary:

In this role, you will be part of our Plant & Equipment team and you will work closely with our P&E Department Director in the implementation of the department’s responsibilities. You will also play a key role into the organization of the P&E department by contributing in the company’s strategies.

What you will need to do:

  • Understand, follow and apply Company’s IMS and especially the P&ED policies, procedures, work instructions and forms
  • Provide Input upwards into the organization to set the company strategies
  • Suggest adjustments or changes of the organization to respond to the changing environment, technology, market conditions, financial challenges, competition, etc.
  • Carry out any task is appointed to you (investigation, evaluation, comparison,documentation, negotiation, supervision, etc.)
  • Continuously seek and suggest ways to improve the performance of the department
  • Feed the knowledge center of the Department with new information and promote the sharing of knowledge within the company
  • Assess risk to maintain the risk profile within set limits
  • Assist the P&E Department Director in the implementation of his responsibilities
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

What you will need to have:

  • University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • MBA or MSc in relevant field of expertise is a strong plus
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a workshop manager, responsible for the maintenance and repair of earthmoving/marine equipment
  • Such experience in projects in the Middle East will be considered an asset
  • Fluency in English
