Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Plant & Equipment team in our Athens Office. Are you ready to be part of and learn from an international dynamic team?

Role summary:

In this role, you will be part of our Plant & Equipment team and you will be responsible for actively supporting our data control team on all our day-to-day processes. You will be based in Athens and you will work closely with our team in Dubai, UAE. Our equipment is the backbone of every single big and meaningful project we handle, and you will have the chance to hold a critical role in the Plant & Equipment Department and in the organization as a whole; You will be responsible for creating, gathering and sharing useful information to our Plant & Equipment business unit and affect the decision-making process of our internal stakeholders with regard to our equipment in order to ensure that all our projects are running smoothly and efficiently.

What you will need to do:

  • Receive workshop monthly report (m4a) from sites and update Workshop Personnel (past and present) master file - including latest data of salary, education, performance, employee history, contact details
  • Update P&E Lists (and necessary documentation) for Prequalification (Tendering)
  • Maintain and prepare towage summaries for Archirodon vessels carried out by 3rd party vessels that include locations, positions, speed, cargo condition, F&L ROB and consumptions, etc
  • Support, prepare, modify P&ED IMS Procedures, WI, Forms, Documents, etc
  • Prepare, update and distribute Marine equipment for sale file. To prepare folder for each vessel with information like latest pictures, specifications, drawings etc
  • Prepare, update and distribute land equipment for sale file after collecting selling prices from all involved
  • Follow up Works In Progress (WIP) and Major Repairs and their required reports
  • Prepare PPTs as needed
  • Handle all correspondence with the Flag Administration related to Marine Equipment
  • Deal with any other job assigned to him/her

Qualifications

What you will need to have:

  • University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering from a top University in Greece
  • MBA or MSc in relevant field of expertise is a strong plus
  • Maximum 2y of experience in a similar role. If you have no experience, there is absolutely no problem, you will just need to have desire to learn and evolve your skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in French is an asset!
