Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for people and project management, carrying out administrative activity required to ensure effective management of claims administration team, payment allocation, claims reserves and total incurred review. The claims lead must know how the team processes to reconcile claims advice and claims payment-related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.The candidate will provide support and be part of the Aii Claims  team and will report to GSO Director of Operations and Claims Operations Manager in London.
 

  • Monitor team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate team schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet project deadlines and operational needs.
  • Manage conflict resolution within the team, mediating disputes and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and organization of team resources, including equipment and supplies, to ensure optimal availability and utilization.
  • Represent the team in cross-functional meetings with team lead, providing updates and feedback to stakeholders on team progress and challenges.
  • Liase with claim handlers to review significant amount of total incurred claims movement
  • Perform ad hoc reconciliations and assist in quarterly and annual audit.
  • Assist team lead in the development and implementation of team goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and departments to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly productivity reports of the team

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of claims process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, work on tight deadlines, pro-active and team player.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data reconciliation.
  • Insurance background is preferred
