Job Description

Arch investment Management Ltd. (AIML), based in Bermuda, is a wholly
owned subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd., a leading insurance and reinsurance
company. Arch Capital has investable assets of over $36 bn. Arch Investment
Management manages Arch Capital and its subsidiaries' portfolios. The continued
growth of the company has created the need to fill a new position within our Risk
and Quantitative team to help managing our current reporting dashboards using
Power BI technology.

  • Design and develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces for web and
  • mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research, useability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Implement and maintain UI components using modern frontend technologies and framework.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Frontend/Fullstack Engineer w/ UI/UX design or
    similar role.
    - Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React,
    Angular).
    - Experience with a design tool such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar.
    - Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Python).
    - Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
    - Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
    - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
