• You will manage the creation of automated regression, smoke, and functional testing solutions for Data intensive applications.
• Write SQL to test the results of the data processing engine.
• Create, maintain, and execute library of automated and manual tests.
• You will collaborate with the Business Analysts, Developers, and Business users on the implementation of test cases, the deployment of automation components, and mentoring of other IT Application Development staff.
• Find opportunities for processes improvement and propose solutions.

• Two (2) of the four (5) years of experience must be working with Test automation using Selenium, Cucumber or equivalent automation test frameworks.
• Experience in writing PL/SQL Scripts/stored procedures/views to analyze data.
• Experience in testing complex software systems and in creating test plans, test scripts, and test reports, both manual and automated.
• Experience using browser virtualization tools to test web applications.
• Understanding of Agile principles and how to operate in an Agile SDLC.
• Experience creating automated API and data tests.
• Experience in working with pipelines in CI/CD software, such as Jenkins or Gitlab.
• Experience with one or more source control tools, such as Gitlab, Git, Github, Bitbucket or others.
• Experience with one or more defect tracking and requirements management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or others.
• [Bonus] You’re familiar with Insurance or Reinsurance or have Testing Certifications.

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or Finance related field or equivalent work experience.

  5 to 7 years of software testing experience with some of it focused on Data Intensive Applications
