Job Description

Handle complex, non-routine financial or banking projects.  Develop basic criteria for financial procedures and methods of analysis.  Assist other departments in applying company financial policies; analyze financial problems and develop solutions.  Develop and interpret data used in highly technical and confidential analyses.  May provide work direction to small groups of professional Financial Analysts.

  • Prepare financial statements for company benefit plans
  • Coordinate annual audit and review activities of external auditors
  • Review financial or transactional information and provide reporting or accounting support for ongoing activities
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
  • Comply with regulatory filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; and assembling data for preparation and submission of filings (e.g. Form 5500, Form 990, PBGC, etc.)
  • Review and process payments, record expenses, and reconcile accounts
  • Provide professional and technical expertise for the analysis and solution of complex problems in any Treasurer's area
  • Review current Treasurer's procedures and identify potential problems
  • Keep abreast of and analyze international economic data; identify trends which may affect the Company
  • Develop short and intermediate term cash forecasts for both corporate and trustee requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics required
  • Seven (7) years experience in multinational business or international finance
  • Strong background in accounting, financial management and analysis, investments, banking and foreign exchange
  • Must be deadline-oriented, time management skills, and attention to detail-oriented
  • Professional experience with computerized financial systems desirable
  • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be proficient technical writing
  • Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette
