Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Crosskeys
Campus, Coleg Gwent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable
individual looking for work within a busy and welcoming catering environment.
Job Description
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the wider catering team in delivering a high-quality
food and beverage service. You'll help ensure our customers receive excellent service while
maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Operating tills and handling payments where required
• Setting up and clearing down service areas
• Restocking food, beverages and other supplies throughout service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across kitchen, dining and service areas
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting colleagues during busy service periods
• Carrying out general catering duties as required by the team

• An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety is desirable
• Previous catering, hospitality or customer service experience would be beneficial, but
a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
