Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join our team in Dishforth,
Thirsk. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to
become part of a supportive team, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming
environment.
Job Description
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
and hygiene across the site, ensuring all areas remain clean, safe, and presentable.
Key responsibilities include:
• Cleaning designated areas to a high standard
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning washrooms, communal areas, and workspaces
• Collecting and disposing of waste appropriately
• Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
• Reporting hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment defects
• Following cleaning schedules and company procedures
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Working independently and as part of a wider team
Qualifications
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities
