Job Description

Reporting to the Product Engineer, you will be involved in Emissions & Fuel Economy team of Powertrain Department for all kind of vehicle tecnologies: ICE, PHEV, HEV and EV. The activities to be carried out will consist in:

-    Test vehicles instrumentation
-    Complete vehicle testing and analysis
-    Managing and reporting the related activities of those projects
-    Test equipment control and managerial

 Responsibilities:

- Involved in projects related to emission measurements, fuel consumption and energy management
- Specially involved in  European Projects, related with particle emissions from Brakes, particle emissions from tyres, life cycle assestment, Real driving emissions and energy consumption
- Test and data logging equipment configuration, test supervision, test validation, data analysis and reporting.
- Test protocol definitions and detection of potential improvements.
- Master plan project definition and exploding to sub-tasks and milestones.
- Test equipment control and checking according to quality standards, internal and external
- Test equipment requirements definition ensuring suitability for tests
- Daily communications with involved technicians in the team to plan and monitor daily tasks
- Quality improvements and automation of data post-processing
- Project Management.
- Preparation of the quotation for the customers.
- Preparation of European projects proposals
- Presentations (commercials and projects) to the customers

 

Qualifications

Profile:
- Client orientation.
- Skills on Office pack (Excel etc).
- Willing to travel abroad for testing and commercial visits.
- Self-motivated, proactive and good team player role.

Added value:

  • Experience in worldwide powertrain standards (ie. EU - Euro 7-, EPA, CARB, Japan, China) related to Energy & Emissions.
  • Experience in automotive mechanics
  • Operating measuring instruments and fitting external instrumentation to vehicle/engine
  • INCA  and Diadem
  • Experience in project management as well customer services

Education:
 - Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Chemical engineering . (MSc valued).

Languages:
- Spanish and English fluent.
