The Homologation Department of Passenger Cars, Light Commercial Vehicles & Components at Applus+ IDIADA's Headquarters is seeking a Homologation Engineer to join our team.

You will be specifically dedicated to the testing and certification of passenger car vehicles according to passive safety regulations, playing a crucial role in ensuring compliance with national and international automotive safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Management: Engage directly with clients to understand their certification needs and manage homologation projects from start to finish
• Testing & Certification: Perform and witness tests according to specific passive safety regulations
• Technical Documentation: Analyze technical documentation and prepare comprehensive test reports in compliance with regulatory requirements

Profile

• Strong knowledge of automotive technology
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in passive safety systems
• Familiarity with automotive regulations and standards

Academic training

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Industry, or related field
• Highly Valued: Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Industry, or related field

Languages

• High level of English and Spanish
• Knowledge in other languages would be an asset.
