You are a Project Manager with proven experience leading complex software development projects and high-profile client engagements. You excel at coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and proactively driving successful project delivery.

You thrive in dynamic environments where strong communication, leadership, and technical understanding are essential. You build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams while ensuring alignment, governance, and successful execution across multiple initiatives.

You are proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate risks, remove blockers, and maintain delivery excellence in fast-paced environments.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience leading software development and/or application maintenance engagements.
  • Experience managing complex, high-visibility client engagements.
  • Strong technical understanding to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Proven ability to identify risks proactively, anticipate issues, and implement mitigation plans before they impact delivery.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams within Agile software development environments.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship management abilities.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience working with banking or financial services clients is highly desirable.
  • Conversational to Full Professional English proficiency.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities

  • Lead complex software development and application maintenance projects from initiation through successful delivery.
  • Serve as the day-to-day leader for high-visibility client engagements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success Manager to maintain alignment on client priorities, account health, and delivery strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, delivery, and account management, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Establish effective communication channels between technical teams and client stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential roadblocks, implementing mitigation plans before they impact delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, scope, and deliverables while ensuring strong governance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams and business stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients and internal stakeholders through regular status updates, reporting, and governance meetings.
  • Foster strong client relationships by serving as a strategic partner focused on successful delivery, continuous alignment, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Ensure consistent execution across multiple initiatives while balancing competing priorities and maintaining delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in software development.
  • Experience managing complex client engagements.
  • Strong Agile project delivery experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Banking or Financial Services experience is highly desirable.
  • Professional English proficiency.
