You are comfortable managing projects with regional, country-level, or high social impact, where urgency, complexity, and evolving priorities are part of the day-to-day. You bring a proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset, balancing execution, stakeholder management, and team coordination to drive successful delivery.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and high-demand stakeholders while maintaining focus, composure, and accountability under pressure. You are adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring alignment between business objectives, delivery plans, and operational execution.
* This position is onsite in San Salvador, El Salvador. Candidates based outside El Salvador will be considered only if willing to relocate.
You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience managing projects end-to-end, with a strong focus on execution and delivery.
- Proven experience creating, managing, and executing work plans, timelines, roadmaps, and critical paths.
- Strong background in project management, planning, and delivery.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent). (Nice to have).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, QA, UX/UI, Product, and Business teams.
- Experience working on software development or digital projects. (Highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and adapt plans in fast-paced environments.
- Experience leading high-impact initiatives with regional, country, or social impact.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with high-demand stakeholders under constant urgency.
- Ability to remain effective, composed, and decisive in high-pressure situations.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional English proficiency.
- Availability to work onsite in San Salvador, El Salvador.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Own and lead projects from planning through execution, acting as the project owner.
- Define and maintain structured work plans, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ensure continuous and disciplined project follow-up, assigning tasks and tracking execution beyond meeting notes.
- Manage critical paths, roadmaps, and schedules, ensuring timely delivery in high pressure environments.
- Empower teams by fostering autonomy, accountability, and collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, blockers, and dependencies proactively.
- Coordinate closely with technical and non-technical teams to align execution with business objectives.
- Manage communication with stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and firm prioritization.
- Maintain concise, focused communication that drives decisions and action.
- Act as a team player and facilitator, strengthening collaboration across all project participants.
- Report project progress, risks, and decisions clearly to local and international stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management with end-to-end delivery ownership.
- Experience managing work plans, timelines, roadmaps, and critical paths.
- Experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Availability to work onsite in San Salvador, El Salvador.
