Appen, a language and technology company is looking for Australian English native speakers for casual work.

Project Information:
• Start Date: Immediately
• Location: Sydney CBD – note that this is not a work from home position
• Hours: At least 35 hours per week (between 8am - 5pm) for up to 3 months
• Payment: AUD$25.03 p/h inclusive of superannuation

Task:
The work will involve listening to audio recordings of Australian English and transcribing what is heard. Annotation of other acoustic events and commenting on audio quality will also be necessary

Preferred Knowledge/skills but not essential:
• Experience working with languages
• A background or degree in languages
