Job Description
As a New Business Development Manager for our London office, you will leverage your existing relationships with direct clients and your expertise in the advertising ecosystem to evangelise and shape our presence in UK & EMEA, becoming a key member of the team as the office grows around you. You will close highly impactful partnerships which will be crucial to the success of Appcoach and you will gain priceless expertise in one of the most lucrative but underdeveloped mobile markets. Clients will look to you for consultative advice as they approach the task of ‘going to Asia’.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage existing direct client contacts to sell mobile advertising campaigns in Asia across all channels
- Reach and exceed monthly & quarterly targets as agreed with the Sales Director
- Develop and nurture new client relationships
- Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline to ensure revenue targets are met
- Work with internal teams to customise client strategy and deliver success
- Attend trade shows and conferences to gather new leads and assess market trends
- Identify client concerns and work with internal teams to provide solutions
- Develop a deep understanding of the mobile industry, potential in Asia and knowledge of our competitors
- Assist in shaping the future direction of the UK & EMEA business
- Frequent travel across EMEA for client meetings and events
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience selling mobile advertising services into direct clients
- Solid client list and network of direct mobile app publishers
- Proven track record of strong sales achieved against revenue targets
- Pro-active “hunter” mentality, driven to build new business and earn commission
- Strong presentation skills and working knowledge with Power Point, Excel, and Word
- Understanding of mobile media channels and solutions as well as the mobile market
- Familiarity with CPI, CPV, CPM, CPC and CPA pricing structures strongly preferred
- Mobile performance experience preferred
- Looking to make an impact and difference in a company
- Eager to learn and able to work with a small and nimble team
- Able to wear multiple hats if necessary and willing to roll-up your sleeves to get things done
