Vendor Integration Manager
- Full-time
Company Description
AppXite is a digital marketplace, CPQ and Billing platform for Telco, SaaS, Cloud and AI services enabling partners to build and monetize as-a-services offerings with flexible pricing models like Pay-Go, peak usage, reservations, pay per token, per outcome delivered or AI compute. Platform capabilities include pre-built vendor and catalog integrations with Microsoft, Google, AWS, Adobe, VMware and other worlds largest vendors.
Job Description
On this role you will lead the team responsible for bringing new vendors and services onto the AppXite marketplace. You'll own the entire vendor onboarding: lifecycle from designing scalable integration processes and working with APIs to improving delivery, automating workflows with AI, and ensuring our catalog stays competitive. This role combines team leadership, technical integration expertise, process optimization, and close collaboration with global cloud vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud to continuously expand and enhance the AppXite platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Delivery Management:
- Take full ownership of the vendor team: set direction, structure, priorities, and accountability.
- Establish a predictable delivery cadence - planning, estimation, tracking, and on-time delivery of vendor onboarding and enhancement projects.
- Define clear roles within the team (analysis, integration, QA, lifecycle management) and coach team members, including developing business analysts into stronger delivery contributors.
- Report transparently on velocity, blockers, and roadmap status to leadership.
2. Process Architecture & Improvement:
- Audit current vendor onboarding and management processes; identify bottlenecks and structural gaps.
- Design and implement standardized, repeatable processes for vendor intake, analysis, integration, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
- Build playbooks and templates so that vendor onboarding becomes a production line, not a series of one-off projects.
3. Integration Architecture (Hands-On Technical Leadership):
- Act as the integration architect for all vendor projects: API analysis, data mapping, order flows, provisioning flows, billing and reconciliation flows.
- Work directly with developers to translate vendor requirements into clear, well-scoped technical specifications.
- Review integration designs for scalability, error handling, and maintainability.
- Own the technical relationship with vendor APIs and marketplaces (e.g., Microsoft Partner Center APIs, AWS Marketplace, Google Cloud channel programs).
4. Automation & AI Tooling:
- Aggressively pursue automation across the vendor lifecycle: catalog updates, price list ingestion, offer synchronization, testing, and monitoring.
- Leverage AI tools and AI agents to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, data mapping, and quality assurance.
- Continuously reduce manual effort per vendor so the team scales output without scaling headcount linearly.
5. Vendor Lifecycle & Relationship Management:
- Own the full lifecycle of every vendor in the catalog: new offers, new programs, promotions, pricing changes, deprecations, and API changes.
- Proactively track vendor roadmaps and program announcements; ensure our platform reflects them before partners have to ask.
- Be persistent and proactive in vendor communication — chase answers, escalate blockers, and never let a vendor request go stale.
- Identify and drive onboarding of new vendors that strengthen the competitiveness of the catalog.
6. Stakeholder & Partner Alignment:
- Gather and prioritize requirements from partners, sales, and product regarding vendor capabilities.
- Communicate vendor roadmap and delivery timelines clearly to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, technology partnerships, channel/marketplace operations, or similar, ideally in SaaS, cloud distribution, or e-commerce.
- Proven team leadership experience: you have run a delivery team and turned around velocity and structure before.
- Strong integration background: hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth/authentication flows, JSON/XML data mapping, and integration project delivery. Fluent with tools like Postman and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications; able to read API documentation fluently and challenge developers on technical design.
- Experience with cloud vendor ecosystems and marketplaces (Microsoft CSP / Partner Center, AWS, Google Cloud, or comparable programs) is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated track record of process design and improvement (e.g., building onboarding playbooks, standardizing delivery pipelines).
- Practical experience with automation platforms and scripting (e.g., Temporal, Workato, Power Automate, or Python/JavaScript scripting) applied to operational workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and AI agent automation: using LLM APIs or agent frameworks to automate real work.
- Excellent communication skills: able to manage demanding external vendors and internal stakeholders with equal confidence.
- Relentless follow-through: you close loops, chase outcomes, and hold others accountable.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in subscription management, recurring billing, or CSP/distribution platforms.
- Background as a solutions architect, integration architect, or technical program manager.
- Familiarity with catalog/pricing data structures and reconciliation processes.
- Experience working with Agile delivery frameworks and adapting them pragmatically.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- Vendor onboarding and enhancement projects are delivered on predictable timelines with visible tracking.
- A standardized vendor onboarding playbook is in place and in use.
- Measurable reduction in manual effort per vendor through automation and AI tooling.
- No vendor offer, program, or API change catches us by surprise.
- The vendor catalog is growing and demonstrably more competitive.
- The team has clear structure, ownership, and improved morale and output.
