Role -Oracle Health HIM Implementation Consultant

Location: Remote (Travel is needed but travel expenses will be paid by client)

Job Summary:

The Oracle Health HIM Implementation Consultant will be responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of Oracle Health’s HIM and Advanced Capture Solutions within healthcare organizations.  This role involves working closely with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to ensure the Oracle Health HIM and Advanced Capture Solutions is tailored to meet the needs of the organization, improve efficiency, and enhance patient care.  The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle Health’s HIM and Advance Capture Solution, providing guidance, training, and support throughout the implementation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Configuration
  • Configure Oracle Health HIM modules to align with organizational workflows and policies
  • Participate in change impact sessions to identify areas of improvement for future state workflows
  • Integrate the Oracle Health HIM and Advance Capture Solution with other Oracle Health modules and third-party systems
• Testing and Validation
  • Lead the testing process to ensure that HIM modules function as expected
  • Identify and resolve any issues identified during testing
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing and gain sign-off from key stake holders
  • Demonstrate system functionality meets requirements during  Requirement Validation Sessions
• Implementation
  • Help design and test the implementation strategy for Oracle Health HIM and Advanced Capture modules
  • Participate in go-live coverage during system activation 
  • Troubleshoot issues logged during go-live
  • Provide training and support to end users during go-live
• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Experience
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Oracle Health system implementation with a focus on HIM and other Revenue Cycle related modules
  • Proven experience in healthcare IT and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Experience troubleshooting complex Oracle Health system configuration
• Skills
  • In depth knowledge of Oracle Health’s HIM and Advanced Capture Solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and support end users
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with clinical and administrative workflows in healthcare organizations
  • Experience writing queries in CCL (preferred)
• Certifications
  • Oracle Health Certification in HIM (preferred)
  • RHIT(preferred)
