• Performs preliminary investigation for future policies and practices as requested by program leadership to determine if revisions to current policies or practices are necessary. 

• Provides offsite health education consultation. 

• Performs blood pressure monitoring, body composition analysis and exercise prescription, using established procedures and guidelines. 

• Provides specific counsel to "High Risk or Special Population" applicants regarding disease management and its effect on exercise. 

• Contacts vendors regarding site equipment issues and performs site focal responsibilities such as safety inspections, cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules. 

• Administers site specific responsibilities such as payroll focal, group exercise focal and equipment focal. Designs, conducts and monitors safe and effective exercise programs for "High Risk" and "Special Populations" for groups and individuals by following ACSM guidelines. 

• Provides basic life support, standard first aid and automated external defibrillator as needed. 

• Certifications must be current and annual re-fresher training that meets OSHA compliance requirements.

• Must be provided for: American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Training

• First Aid Training, 

• AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training, and OSHA compliance training related to Bloodborne Pathogens.
