A little about Convertro:
Convertro is an OATH company, originally acquired by AOL in May 2014 to serve as an integral component of the Ad Solutions Programmatic tech platform...the marketing ROI brain of the platform. Convertro is a stand-alone brand recognized by industry analysts as the #1 Multi-touch Attribution provider, and was recently ranked a strong performer in the new emerging space of “Unified” measurement and optimization, combining MTA and MMM in a more scalable, automated way. It’s clients consist of Fortune 500 Advertisers globally and typically at the CMO/VP Marketing level engagement. Some multi-year retainer-based clients include: Verizon, Bank of America, Pfizer, IBM, Staples, GAP, Marks and Spencers, Amazon, etc. Convertro is also an integrated brand across OATH properties...at least that is the goal--think “Intel-inside” or ingredient brand to a larger effort.

Function as Executive Sponsor on most strategic accounts, at the C-level where needed. Be able to speak a CMO’s language, package C-level communications, earn their trust, handle any conflict resolution or negotiation needs.
Responsible for all C-level internal communications and expectation-setting, up to the CEO of OATH, President of Platforms, President of Global Media, etc. when shared clients are involved.
Head of Client Services and Head of Tech Ops will directly report into this function. That is a global team (LA, NY, London, Sydney).
A hybrid capability is required: high tech propensity combined with marketing strategic consulting mind. Ability to go deep to truly grasp the day-to-day challenges/opportunities your teams face, as well as remain objective to look down the playing field and recommend operational, institutional business model optimizations to improve overall efficiencies and throughput.
Deep partnership integration across a newly formed OATH organization leadership team, ensuring Convertro is best represented and prioritized across shared product roadmaps.
Shared responsibility with Head of Sales and Head of R&D on P&L management.
20+ years in some combination of Ad Tech, Mar Tech, Marketing Measurement and Analytics, Product/Technology culture, Advertising/Media, Leadership/Management
Client Services for Fortune top 100, C-level relationship management
Exposure to MTA and MMM, business analytics, data for insights
A coach, mentor, team motivator disposition
Ability to craft business cases and investment strategies
Superb presentation skills and presence
- Combination of start-up swagger and corporate navigator is a plus
