Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a world-class candidate to help drive strategy, marketing, business development, and sales for a new business being launched.

  • Providing strategic and analytical support to commercialization efforts
  • Leading cross-functional teams to pursue and/or implement new opportunities
  • Reporting on operational and financial results to internal and external stakeholders


Expectations include:

Drive business development with existing and potential Supply and Demand partners. Develop value-propositions, discussion / presentation materials, and work to identify, structure, and agree on opportunities for collaboration.

Serve as a point-of- contact for this business’ interactions with Verizon’s Sales and Marketing teams, including leading development of AOLP content for proposals and presentations, and representing AOLP in customer presentations as required.

Work across AOL and Verizon businesses and products to ensure we have the required resources and support to meet customer and/or market requirements.

Continue to evolve and execute strategy for this new business, working closely with business leadership.

Develop / update forecasts of market growth, market share, pricing, and operational costs.

Track and synthesize competitor, marketplace, and customer intelligence.

Lead/support primary & secondary market research to assess demand, utility, pricing, and competitors.

Develop written recommendation presentations for senior and executive leadership.


Qualifications

Key Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Ability to build and persuasively communicate a differentiated value proposition to prospective customers and/or partners and support sales and business development efforts (e.g., proposals, pricing)

Ability to operate in a technology-driven business, understand implications of core software and analytics concepts, and represent business and customer needs to product and engineering teams.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills - both quantitative modeling and qualitative/logical reasoning

Ability to manage and balance multiple project work streams and demonstrated ability to execute

Compelling presentation and data visualization skills


Qualifications

5-10 years of total experience, preferably with at least 2-3 years at a leading strategy consulting firm or in
a corporate strategy group of a major company.

Exceptional skills in creative problem solving, quantitative and qualitative analytics, and communications.

Strong financial acumen with proven modeling capabilities

Familiarity with advertising technology preferred

Prior product strategy and/or product management experience inside a tech company a plus

BS in a quantitative discipline with high GPA, MBA preferred
