Open Business Infrastructure (OBI) offers subscription management and monetization engine for AOL, Verizon and its affiliates by providing generic capabilities for billing, subscription management, partner integrations, payouts to the publishers. The platform provides revenue reporting capabilities, service management tools, dashboards, product catalog, order management systems. The platform is being leveraged by variety of teams across AOL and Verizon family.

Your efforts on the team will make a direct impact on the monetization of the AOL/Verizon products and services.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate:

The perfect candidate has good interpersonal skills and is a very driven individual with an impetus of getting things done. Also, the ability to figure things out with minimal guidance and experience working on teams with in a very Agile environment with constantly changing priorities.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience with security patching; maintaining infrastructure as code with tools like cloud formation, terraform, etc.; system health monitoring (CloudWatch, Nagios, Sensu, etc.); container technology like docker; and building RPMs.

This will be a typical Devops position, the candidate will have to be familiar with Java and its associated frameworks and be able to write some small utilities, Candidate will also need to have good database skills in terms of querying the db for required data and analyzing the data. Candidate should also have very good debugging skills in terms of tracking down issues.


Craft DevOps solutions that leverage AWS and internal products/service capabilities to meet critical business requirements

Treat infrastructure as code and making it scalable.

Create simple and easy to maintain infrastructure.

Work with Corporate IT Security team to make sure all standards and guidelines are being followed

Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

Patch systems and keep the infrastructure compliant to audits and standards

Automate CI/CD pipeline with high availability.



3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

3+ years of Java and its frameworks.

Experience with Linux System Administration (CentOS or Red Hat)
Experience with Application Administration (apache httpd, apache tomcat based)
Experience with Developing app management tools and monitors.
Experience with scripting (shell/python..etc)
Experience deploying, configuring, and monitoring of physical, virtual, and hybrid cloud environments
Experience administering Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, security groups, VPCs, ingress/egress rules, etc.
Experience in creating sustainable cloud infrastructure.
Experience with CI/CD.
