Role Description:

We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our Sales Planning and Execution organization. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. Verizon Digital Media Services offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources and outstanding leadership to sell business application solutions and take your career to the next level!

As a Sales Development Representative you will gain experience interacting with accounts that the Regional Sales Teams work. This consists of a Regional Director & 3-5 Account Executives hunting new business within specific territories and industries. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance by demonstrating their ability to be persistent every day.


Your Impact:

  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities in an effort to support closed business

  • Respond to and qualify incoming event, web and phone inquiries regarding Verizon Digital Media Services products

  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience

  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills

  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Verizon Digital Media Services products

  • Generate and qualify opportunities to fuel our revenue growth

  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined industry and territory

  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling and strategic research)

  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts

  • Evangelize Verizon Digital Media Services

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University

  • B2B Sales Development experience

  • Full-time corporate sales experience (B2B software sales is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRM experience

  • Inside sales experience is a plus

  • Enterprise prospecting experience is a plus

  • Excellent phone conversation skills

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Experience being held to metrics is a plus

  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment

  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful qualification

  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
