Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative with a consultative sales approach and experience in industrial processes to strengthen our presence in the Northeast and Bajío regions of Mexico.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop the assigned customer portfolio within the territory by supporting existing accounts and generating new business opportunities for our process instrumentation product line.
- Prospect and acquire new customers in industrial sectors such as chemicals, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, energy, and oil & gas.
- Conduct technical and commercial customer visits to assess application requirements, gather specifications, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide specialized technical consulting on applications, system integration, and the benefits of inline measurement solutions for tanks and pipelines.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and performance evaluations.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and purchasing teams.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and customer projects.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and product line budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities and customer activities in the CRM system.
- Travel extensively throughout the Bajío and Northeast regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in technical sales, applications, or technical support for industrial/process instrumentation or analytical equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial processes, quality control, and/or industrial automation.
- Ability to interpret process flow diagrams (P&IDs), technical specifications, and perform plant surveys and requirements assessments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Self-motivated, business-oriented, and results-driven.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, including the ability to conduct technical conversations.
- Willingness to travel extensively and drive throughout the assigned territory.
- Residence in Querétaro is preferred.
