Job Description

  • Technological responsibility for transferring new products into series production
  • Close interface between development, design engineering, and production
  • Evaluation and optimization of designs with regard to manufacturability, ease of assembly, and serviceability
  • Introduction and further development of manufacturing technologies with a strong hands-on focus
  • Definition, validation, and documentation of manufacturing and testing processes
  • Technical support for production in complex electromechanical matters

Qualifications

  • Completed degree (University of Applied Sciences/Technical University, Bachelor’s) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronicsor a comparable advanced technical qualification with relevant practical experience
  • Several years of hands-on experience in control cabinet construction, industrial automation, or electrical plant engineering
  • Ideally a professional background progressing from a hands-on role (e.g., electronics technician, mechatronics technician, technical specialist) into a development or industrial engineering function
  • Very good understanding of electrical design, wiring, EMC, and design for manufacturability
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines, desirable: EN 61010, EN 60204, EN 61439, EN 61326 (EMC), IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001
  • Experience in transferring products from development into series production
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Structured, analytical, and at the same time pragmatic working style

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 4.500 based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
