Kumba Iron Ore

We produce high-grade iron ore, the key component in steel widely used in construction and manufacturing across the world. Our activities include all aspects – exploration; mining; processing and blending; shipping; marketing and selling. In South Africa, we have mining operations in the Northern Cape province, as well as a head office in Gauteng, and a port operation in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape.

This opportunity will allow you to acquire practical experience in your chosen field of study and maximize your contribution to our business as part of your on-going development. This is a full-time programme and the duration is approximately 3 years. This programme will afford you an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills to drive your career.

• Grade 12/N3 or equivalent (with Mathematics / Mathematics Literacy)
• Valid South African Driver’s License.
• Proof of residential address
• Medical and Physical Fitness (RFA)
• LPCAT assessment
• Applicants to be aged between 18-35 years
• Currently unemployed and not studying
