Job Description
The Supply Chain function sits within the Marketing Finance team and plays a vital role in supporting the operations of the Marketing Business. This is achieved by ensuring that products and services required by Marketing to fulfil its ambitions is procured at the lowest cost while making sure quality and reliability of goods and services procured are acceptable by the business.
The team is responsible for the end to end management of all procurement activities within the Marketing Business, which covers primarily Singapore and United Kingdom. The team interfaces with Group Supply Chain functions such as Category Management, Sourcing & Contracts, Project Procurement and Purchasing.
Purpose
Source and contract in a centrally managed manner, in order to ensure security of supply and optimise supplier performance and value in the allocated portfolio, and act as an interface between Marketing and Group Supply Chain.
Partners with the Marketing business stakeholders for procurement of services and office management relates goods. Instrumental to lead change management to embed Supply Chain principles and adherence to Supply Chain Group Policies, Standards and Procedures.
Key Tasks
Delivery & Performance
- Contribute to overall sourcing and contracting strategies, plans and resource allocation
- Support relevant Supply Chain strategy and ensure that performance targets, plans and budgets are adhered to with due consideration of risk identification
- Embrace an agile Supply Chain by being adaptive and flexible to accommodate and focus on emerging and changing business priorities
Value Delivery & Supplier Partnering
- Understand marketing strategic priorities for operational and service management and executes relevant Sourcing & Contracting strategies to support business needs
- Optimize value through innovation, risk mitigation and growth throughout the relationship life cycle
- Participate in negotiations for marketing contracts - Supply Chain categories in scope: IT, HR, Facilities Management and Professional Services
Planning
- Identify, enable & track value and inclusive procurement opportunities, commercial initiatives and specific resource requirements
- Track and monitor progress tracking against sourcing & contracts targets
- Provide input into the relevant budget and resource requirements
Interface Management
- Drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and act as a point of contact to resolve Supply Chain issues and escalations from the marketing business
- Educate stakeholders on relevant Supply Chain policies and standards
Sourcing & Contracts Management
- Responsible for all Sourcing & Contracting activities across a sub-set of categories that include sourcing plans; compiling and executing of sourcing events; contracting and contract management (incl administration)
- Provide proactive visibility and continuous improvement of sourcing and contracts pipeline related to allocated portfolio
- Implement value opportunities and assist with the resolution of risks and identification of risk mitigation solutions pertaining to the portfolio
- Ensure cross collaboration between internal and external stakeholders
- Review of agreements
- Track contract savings and report in the system
- Implement value opportunities and mitigate risk pertaining to the portfolio.
- Support in the drafting and execution of contracts
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare of Supply Chain reports for communication of procurement information to key stakeholders
- Support in the administration of contracts, such as uploading of contracts for records, contract signing and drafting of contract approvals.
- Any other ad hoc support that is required.
Continuous Improvement
- Support with enhancement and improvement of procurement processes within the Marketing business.
Qualifications
An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor degree level or equivalent, alternatively relevant tertiary qualification and proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity
Experience: Practical experience in relevant field not less than 10 years.
