Job Description
Please note that this is a fixed term contract role.
Commercial Value Delivery & Supplier Partnering
- Execute IM contract activities within approved frameworks, including contract set-up, administration, documentation and lifecycle support.
- Prepare and coordinate IM contract documents, including Statements of Work, call-offs, amendments, renewals, schedules and contract change notices.
- Manage routine IM contract renewals and amendments, ensuring approvals, supporting information and records are complete and accurate.
- Coordinate supplier mobilisation and implementation activities with IM stakeholders and relevant enabling functions.
- Monitor contract compliance, identify leakage, off-contract activity, incomplete documentation and other governance risks.
- Support contract performance tracking, issue resolution and supplier follow-up in line with agreed commercial and service expectations.
- Support value delivery targets and stretch targets through disciplined contract execution, accurate records and proactive identification of improvement opportunities.
- Support the development of category, sourcing and contracting strategies and plans through data gathering and analysis and responsibly execute allocated sourcing & contracting activities.
- Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers, to drive step change in value and deliver innovative solutions that position Anglo American as a partner of choice.
- Support the implementation of commercial strategies to support business needs and improve value delivery.
- Provide support with regards to negotiations and finalising GFAs (General Framework Agreements)
Planning
- Actively track commercial demand and proactively address and escalate issuesIdentify, enable & track value and inclusive procurement opportunities, commercial initiatives and specific resource requirements.
- Execute relevant project procurement activities in a timely and visible manner.
Sourcing & Contracts Management
- Responsible for compiling and executing allocated sourcing events, contracting and contract management (including administration), supplier/contract performance management and initiative management.
- Implement value delivery plans for routine and tactical sourcing & contracting and contractor management activities.
- Create proactive visibility and continuous improvement of sourcing and contracts pipeline related to allocated portfolio
Commercial Agreements
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, to drive step change in value and deliver innovative solutions.
- Provide support regarding supplier performance management of select suppliers and address escalated issues.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Adopt new ways of working and systems usage within team regarding suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Support the relevant Business Partner to track and update supplier performance, based on contractual KPIs.
Decision rights
- Determine contract administration approach for routine IM contract activities within approved frameworks and governance requirements.
- Coordinate supplier communications relating to routine IM contract execution, renewals, amendments and mobilisation activities.
- Execute IM contract documents within approved frameworks, delegated authority and process controls.
What success looks like
- Reliable delivery of IM contract execution, renewals, amendments and administration activities.
- Strong contract compliance, complete records, audit-ready documentation and clear approval evidence.
- Reduced cycle times for routine IM contract documents, renewals and amendments.
- Positive stakeholder experience through clear communication, disciplined follow-up and proactive issue resolution.
- Achievement of value delivery targets and stretch targets, with savings, avoidance and benefits recorded accurately.

- IM Category Managers, Category Specialists and Category Advisors.
- IM stakeholders, service owners, product owners and business requestors.
- Sourcing & Contracts, Commercial Operations, Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Data Privacy teams.
- IM suppliers and service providers.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor degree level or equivalent, alternatively relevant tertiary qualification and proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity
- SAP Ariba knowledge would be advantageous.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in contract administration, contract execution or commercial support within an Information Management, technology or corporate services environment.
- Practical knowledge of IM contract lifecycle management, including Statements of Work, call-offs, renewals, amendments, schedules and supporting contract documentation.
- Ability to work within approved commercial frameworks while recognising contractual, commercial, technical, data, security and compliance escalation triggers.
- Strong stakeholder and supplier communication skills, with the ability to coordinate activity across IM, Sourcing & Contracts, Legal, Finance, Risk and suppliers.
- Understanding of value delivery, contract compliance, audit readiness, records management and risk management in IM contract activities.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple IM contract priorities at pace.
