Job Description

Support the line managers and employees across the full range of activities associated with human resources management.
The Work: key Outputs

  • Demonstrates behaviour in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Demonstrates behaviour aligned with the Group’s values, standards, and a professional workplace.
  •  Participate as an effective team member in collaborating with your leader, peers, and relevant others (including from other teams where relevant) to achieve business goals.
  • Active participation in SLAMs, HPHs, relevant Risk Assessments and close-out of Safety Actions.
  • Verify and rectify any input errors made on Navigator+ and SAP systems to ensure data accuracy.
  • Process SAP orders and HR data within the designated time frame to meet deadlines.
  • Implement HR policies, procedures and practices as required for smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with GSS to resolve operation-related issues and respond to queries effectively.
  • Provide timely assistance to team members and supervisors to help achieve team goals within their domains.
  • Assist line managers in defining roles, competencies, and learning paths for improved structure and performance.
  • Audit and maintain HR systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate time and attendance reports to identify deviations and inform relevant supervisors promptly.
  • Deliver HR support services such as manpower planning, recruitment, reward and employee relations with technical proficiency.
  • Monitor adherence to good HR practices through regular HR reporting to line management for compliance and process improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular auditing and maintenance of HR systems.
  • • Resolve time-related queries and issues promptly to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Participate in operational meetings, including monthly departmental/ section team meetings, to ensure alignment and fit-to-purpose services.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  •  National Certificate in Human Resources Management or an equivalent qualification (NQF4)
  • SA Drivers License: Code B (Light vehicle)


Technical Knowledge

  •  Competent in the use of SAP HR and MS Office.
  •  Applies a systematic, knowledge-based problem-solving approach and structured methodologies to investigate risks and opportunities and create effective, value-added technical solutions.
  • Practical application of communication processes.
  • Can establish and nurture beneficial business relationships by demonstrating project and active resource management skills.
  • Effectively applies project and resource management tools and techniques within own role.
  • Adheres to standards and recommended practices
