Overview
The Influencer Relations Manager is a highly motivated individual with a passion for Social Media, deep love of the fashion and beauty industry, and knowledge of the influencer landscape. This role will serve as a “gatekeeper” for all influencer partnerships globally, acting as a brand steward in evaluating and strategically selecting partners to tell the ABH brand story on partner channels as well as executing large and small-scale macro and micro programs. This person will oversee influencer programs with license and wholesale partners, designing effective programs and developing systems for reporting on primary KPIs and metrics to evaluate success (conversion, engagement etc.). This person is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with bloggers, influencers, stylists, tastemakers, “it girls”, and their agents and teams when relevant.
Essential Job Functions
· Develop, implement and manage successful, brand-right Global Influencer strategy that amplifies ABH brand and marketing messages across new, relevant audiences, and leverages the credibility and unique POV of the Influencer to tell our brand story (includes paid editorial, gifting, collaborative content development and general digital communications efforts, owning budget globally)
· Manage the execution of a high volume of influencer activations throughout the year, retail, license partner, wholesale partner, global events, website integrations, UGC campaigns and more
· Manage contract negotiation with talent agents ensuring clear scope of work and alignment on timeline and deliverables. Partner with legal team to draft and execute influencer contracts.
· Manage global influencer budget. This person will be responsible for the tracking and processing of all invoices related to influencer partnerships and activations, reconciling the budget each month and communicating with international teams as well as agents/talents to ensure smooth and accurate budget maintenance.
· Maintain an influencer database with accurate and up to date brand partnerships
· Proactively reach out to key influencers for placement and coverage, in line with global PR initiatives and social-specific activations, negotiating contracts and following up to ensure scope is met
Qualifications
· BS / BA required, Marketing / Communications degrees preferred
· 2 – 4 years of Digital Media experience (ideally, PR, Marketing and / or Social Media-specific experience
· Within Digital Media experience – must have specific Influencer experience in the beauty industry
· Strong organization skills and attention to detail
· Experience negotiating with outside partners (talent, agents, vendors, etc.)
· Proven track record of effectively managing budget
· A creative problem solver: must be able to distill goals and objectives and align strategies and tactics to meet them
· Comfort with data / analytics to effectively evaluate and report on project success and achievement of KPI’s
· Excellent cross-functional and cross-cultural communication skills (written & verbal)
· Experience with sample trafficking and media communication ideal
