Job Description

This position is responsible for the management of Client accounts and all facets of Client Service and of the delivery of Agency services in an efficient and effective manner. It includes but not limited to;
Client Management

  • Knowledge and understanding of client’s business
  • Establish and maintain productive communication between the Client and the Agency
  • Maintain a good relationship and close contact with the Client 

Account Management

  • Assist in the delivery of services to the Client
  • Co-ordinate and manage all Agency services to the Client
  • Ensure a smooth and timely workflow of activities directed at the Client
  • Forward recommendations and analyses to the Client

Business development

  • Be alert to business growth opportunities 
  • Achieve portfolio growth

Financial Management

  • Ensure that Client accounts are correct and delivered on time and that payment is effected timelessly
  • Collect signed quotes and media schedules against jobs and supply these to the Account Director so that the budget can be updated

Work Procedures

  • Administer all day-to-day activities, at a more senior level
  • Delegate administrative responsibilities to Account Executives on a project basis.
  • Ensure a smooth and timely internal workflow
  • Work with other departments to ascertain timetables, pursue estimate approval and follow the project through actual production and final presentation 
  • Ensure that the Agency’s actions are in line with agreements, procedures and budgets, and reflect a unified and agreed point of view
  • Take the initiative in completing tasks which will assist the team 

Reports

  • Maintain and write work status reports
  • Write contact reports and forward these to the Client within 48 hours after every meeting
  • Monthly activity reports

Systems

  • Adhere to Client Service systems and business processes
  • Accurate and efficient use of systems in the departments
  • Comply with Chase system


Human Relations

  • Good relationships with all staff 
  • Support concepts of brand group team 
  • Assist in the professional growth of the Account Executive and AE Assistant
  • Work closely and provide support to the Account Director and Client Service Director
     

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration or an industry-related field.
 

Additional Information

2-3 years’ proven experience working as a client servicing executive in a marketing, advertising or communications field
Proficient in MS Office - with an expertise in Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
Experience in the articulation and writing of Job Bags and media briefs
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Thorough administration and co-ordination skills
