Job Description
Job Summary
READ_ health and Pfizer project is looking for self-motivated, intern with a passion for community health. The intern will actively work with the project team and support the execution of project activities as per the plan. The intern will be responsible to facilitate community based activities to be done at kebele and woreda level. This position will be based at the Arbaminch regional office, with regular field visits to the implementation areas. The Intern will report directly to the regional manager. Under the supervision of the regional manager, the intern will support the project staff in documentation, training facilitation and others.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing workshops, trainings and meetings at community, health facility and woreda level
- Facilitate financial and administrative procedures (including logistic arrangement) for trainings, meetings, workshops
- Support the project team in documentation of key elements of a training, meeting and workshop reports
- Work with project team in compiling and tracking training online data base
- Participate on project team meeting and document minutes
- Assist in organizing workshops, trainings and meetings
- Prepare and submit procurement plans to procurement units
- Closely follow up procurement status of submitted procurement plans
- Assist the project team in different project implementation process
- Undertake other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in public health, clinical nurse or equivalent education with fresh graduate
- Zero years of work experience
- Minimum of diploma or bachelor’s degree in health discipline, Good Communication and English Writing skill, Be a team player and communicator, Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
